About Us
The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre (NTRC), serving Yorkshire and the Humber and the East Midlands has been running since 2003 and is one of six regional centres based across the country. It is supported by the Department of Communities and Local Government in order to provide effective training and support to managers, workers and residents who work in neighbourhoods and communities across the region.

New Lodge & Athersley Community Liaison Wardens Win Award (Nov 2009)
New Lodge and Athersley Community Liaison Wardens have won the Best Community Safety Initiative at the Neighbourhood Management Awards 2009.
The wardens have bridged the ‘trust gap’ between residents and service providers. Meanwhile, activities to support young people in the area have been provided, such as the Junior Warden Scheme, anti-arson work, litter-picking, and graffiti removal. There’s also fishing and gardening clubs, and a volunteer-led youth club.
