Mission Statement, Vision and Values

The Centre’s mission is to work closely with, and support those that want to improve their community. To do this we offer high quality training, advice, guidance and support to ensure that communities are empowered and that all neighbourhood services are delivered successfully, contributing to improved quality of life for residents.

The Centre will maintain a broad portfolio of training that meets the wide ranging needs of communities and will constantly strive to develop a flexible, competent and well-motivated team.

The vision is to ensure that the Centre is recognised as a ‘centre of excellence’ which is easily accessible, providing training, support and guidance for all local, regional and national agendas that focus on the improvement of local communities.

Warden Quality Srandard
8th Annual Regional Warden Conference for Yorkshire & The Humber (March 2010)
This conference was the 8th Annual Regional Warden Conference to be organised and facilitated by the Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre. The aim of the day was to share best practice and knowledge, with key speakers and workshop facilitators from across the region. The Conference provides the opportunity for Community Wardens within Yorkshire & Humber to take away information, new contacts and hopefully helpful ideas that can assist warden schemes in providing best practice and continued partnership working.
