Excellence in Customer Service

Developing 'Excellence in Customer Service' is vital to the success of any project, organisation or business. The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre has developed a one day training package which develops knowledge and understanding of what make a customer service excellent.
 
'Happy customers will tell one or two people , unhappy customers will tell eight to ten people!'
 
Course Aims:
  • Understand and be aware of customer expectations
  • Understand the importance of and be able to use appropriate language and behaviour
  • Develop communication and listening skills e.g. questioning , telephone language
  • Efficiently and effectively be able to deal with conflict / complaints
 
By the end of the day candidates will understand the importance of excellent customer service and the direct impact this can have on both the success of an organisation and job satisfaction. They will recognise how to improve the customers experience through the development of personal communication skills and gain knowledge and confidence in handling more difficult customers.

8th Annual Regional Warden Conference for Yorkshire & The Humber (March 2010)
This conference was the 8th Annual Regional Warden Conference to be organised and facilitated by the Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre. The aim of the day was to share best practice and knowledge, with key speakers and workshop facilitators from across the region. The Conference provides the opportunity for Community Wardens within Yorkshire & Humber to take away information, new contacts and hopefully helpful ideas that can assist warden schemes in providing best practice and continued partnership working.
