Supervisory Training

Supervisors act as key links between management and the rest of the workforce. They perform a duel function of communicating management messages and ensuring staff meet their performance targets.
 
The training maximises its effectiveness by refining existing skills, whilst developing new ones in an interactive and creative way. Appropriately trained supervisors, empowered with the right skills, will lead a higher motivated and productive team.

  • Identify qualities needed for good supervision
  • Develop ideas and a plan to improve your individual competencies
  • Identify competencies necessary for success
  • Discuss and analyse aspects of the employment relationship
  • Identify the differences and similarities between values and beliefs
  • Identify a model of motivation
  • Specify the need for effective communication
  • Specify the importance of Restorative Justice
  • Complete a performance plan to assist in professional growth and development

8th Annual Regional Warden Conference for Yorkshire & The Humber (March 2010)
This conference was the 8th Annual Regional Warden Conference to be organised and facilitated by the Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre. The aim of the day was to share best practice and knowledge, with key speakers and workshop facilitators from across the region.
