Aims and Clients

We aim to provide quality training at consistently high standards, developing new packages and specialist courses to suit evolving trends. As well as this, the Centre constantly strives to develop a flexible, competent and well-motivated team.
 
The courses we offer provide a range of skills for the region’s community wardens as well as a host of community groups including police community support officers, community development workers, health practitioners, local government personnel and neighbourhood management.
 
The vision is to ensure that the Centre is recognised as a 'centre of excellence’ for neighbourhoods, communities and partnership, which is easily accessible, providing training, support and guidance for all local, regional and national agendas.
 
The NTRC acts as a knowledge hub, providing advice and support to new and existing organisations

8th Annual Regional Warden Conference for Yorkshire & The Humber (March 2010)
This conference was the 8th Annual Regional Warden Conference to be organised and facilitated by the Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre. The aim of the day was to share best practice and knowledge, with key speakers and workshop facilitators from across the region. The Conference provides the opportunity for Community Wardens within Yorkshire & Humber to take away information, new contacts and hopefully helpful ideas that can assist warden schemes in providing best practice and continued partnership working.
