Introduction to Neuro-linguistic Programming

We are now able to offer training in neuro-linguistic programming - Pathways to increasing Personal Effectiveness.

There are countless books, courses, staff training days and probably managers telling you what works in particular areas whether its stress, motivation or managing change and they can go to great lengths explaining why it works. And while I’m sure no one disagrees I cannot help but ask the question “but how do we do it?”  Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) studies and codes people who are excellent at what they do. This process, called modelling NLP, allows other people to learn and utilise the same strategies that excellent communicators use. NLP works from the assumption that if someone else can do it so can you. The modules presented here will allow you to become increasingly more effective with yourself and increasingly more effective with others.

Emotional intelligence is fast becoming a buzz word in the working world. The increasing recognition that a high level of emotional intelligence is desirable is due to the fact that companies that recognise this far outstrip the competition. Companies have even started using emotional intelligence tests as part of the interview process at all levels of responsibility. While this recognition exists, there is little or no training that will allow an individual to increase their emotional intelligence. People regarded as emotionally intelligent are better able to deal effectively with themselves leading to relief from stress, healthier relationships in and out of work and resilience to change and set backs. People regarded as emotionally intelligent are also more effective with other people leading to further relief from stress, successful team interaction and excellent management skills.

NLP is frequently being referred to as “the technology of emotional intelligence” because it allows anyone to learn the skills of emotional intelligence to be more effective in the workplace and other areas such as home life. The skills learnt from these modules are fully transferable to your personal life and any other job that involves interaction with another human being.
