Presentation Skills

This one day course combines both the theory and practice of effective presenting alongside the development of wider communication skills.
 
The course will give delegates the ability to create a motivational presentation, and will look at how to effectively communicate and project a positive and professional image during delivery. It will also focus on ensuring that information is presented in a structured format and is therefore fully understood.
 
The course will be interactive and highly participative, with all delegates expected to produce and deliver a presentation of their choice to the other delegates.
 
 
Aims:
 
To impart practical skills and build confidence for making presentations.
 
 
Objectives:
 
  • Demonstrate how to effectively structure a presentation
  • Demonstrate key presentation skills such as eye contact, body language and the persuasiveness use of tone of voice
  • Explain how to create impact through confident handling and design of visual aids
  • Explain how to motivate an audience through involvement
