8th Annual Regional Warden Conference for Yorkshire & The Humber (March 2010)
The day consisted of three parts. First being a welcome address from Barbara Onley, the Manager of the NTRCYH. The delegates at the Conference were set a light-hearted challenge throughout the day – delegates were asked to list on flip chart paper song titles that they thought were appropriate for wardens and were given four titles to start them off: ‘Why does it always rain on me’; ‘Baby, it’s cold outside’; ‘Walking on Broken Glass’ and ‘Needles and Pins’. The welcome address was followed by the workshops, a keynote speech from Chris Taylor, the Director of YoHr Space (the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership for Yorkshire & Humber) and a short address by Cllr Cynthia Ransome, Cabinet Member, Doncaster Council. The day concluded with the Regional Awards Ceremony.
